I attended 13th Floor Haunted House (Denver, CO) on 30 Sept 2018 and at the ticket window asked if they offered a military discount. My friends and I, who were all active duty military, received $2 off our general admission tickets.
Note: We only purchased tickets for the main haunted house attraction. While I am sure 13th Floor will offer a military discount for any ticket price, other attractions, and merchandise sales; I personally can not confirm at this time that they do offer a discount for these other items.
My Personal Experience: This was my first time going to the 13th Floor Haunted House since they changed to a new location last year (2017). 13th Floor is a staple of my Halloween shenanigans as I have gone to their haunted houses many a season in Chicago before gracing myself with their glory here in Denver. This new location does not disappoint.
If you have gone through the previous haunt in its former location you can appreciate the new one's space and its usage. The experience, while fully immersive, did seem a bit rushed, but in the times when my group had to slow down we were able to really take in the massiveness of our surroundings and the detail that lends itself to giving you that sense of being transformed into a world of misery. I am enamored with the anamatronics 13th floor uses in their haunted house, they are ghoulish pets popping out of the blue for your affection.
The only flaw I could point out here would have to be despite the attraction boasting three different themes within the haunted house they tended to blend together, so well so, that had it not been for the signs I would not have been able to tell that I had changed from one themed portion to the next. "The Possession" stood out, in theme, because the change was so drastic from the first section "Half-Alive", but continuing through I could not tell you at what point it ended and I started my journey into the next portion (Trick or Treat) of the attraction. Don't let this deter you from venturing out to this top notch Halloween experience. 13th Floor knows how to make you uneasy and keep you on your toes. I have never been disappointed by my experiences with this company and always look forward to their additional events like "Blackout" and holiday specific feature attractions around Christmas and other various holidays.
