Condemned: Started with a great homage to the SAW movie series and set the mood. The first room is an adrenaline build with an unforgettable ending. The scenes of this attraction became a blur because the first room scared us so good that we were expecting something at every step to come for us. My group ran more in this attraction than any other attraction here or haunted house we have been to previously.
Zombie Paintball Massacre: Fun intro section that had an unexpected lead into the actual zombie paintball portion, in between the intro and getting to our ride vehicle left my group wondering how and where will the paintball experience begin. Once getting on the vehicle to start the paintball experience we had fun riding through different scenes shooting the zombies and listening to the commentary from the attraction host. The zombies have some pretty good hiding spots. You are limited with your guns range as it is attached to a rail. There's no feeling like getting headshots!!!
Carnevil: Started off strong and lost some momentum a bit with the break ups in the corn maze which isn't necessarily a bad thing. This attraction gave my group some of our best experiences with the scare-actors, especially in-between the mini haunted houses. The actors had funny quips and set ups, nice improv to our groups random thoughts and shenanigans, and some of the interior design elements stood out from the other experiences starting all the way in the line queue with the detailed attraction façade.
Dead Man's Maze: Haunted field of screams is an ordeal when you opt-in to all four attractions. Your adrenaline is pumping, you never know when scares are coming, and going from a casual walk to a run can happen in an instance. With that in mind our group decided to do the main attraction last and needed just a little breather before entering. The main attraction is an actual maze that you can get lost in, having been lost a bit last year (2017), only myself and one other in this quintet knew what we would be in for this year. The uniqueness of the haunted house/corn field combo pays off with this attraction as time and time again you have no idea which way is the right way and you feel a great moment of relief any time you find the next haunted house station. This years group completed the maze in a much faster time, but the lesser time did not diminish our fun with this attraction. We still were lost at times and we still had no idea what to expect.
Overall: I love Haunted Field of Screams and it will remain on my yearly must do list for October activities. You will not find another experience like this. Every time I have come here there have been memories made that I will never forget. The corn makes it hard to predict scares and the mini haunted house stations are so well done your head will be spinning trying to remember what all you endured once the night ends. I highly recommend Haunted Field of Screams for anyone looking for a unique haunted house experience.
