COSTCO Wholesale (Over $60 In Savings)

There was always a pivotal point in my life when I knew I would need to buy things in bulk and that time crept up on me quicker than I could have ever expected. That point was when I became a homeowner (click to see how Costco memberships help with mortgage rates) and on the road to home ownership my lender kept asking me for my Costco membership number, which I did not have, but I knew it was time to get one.

Before heading to the store I did a quick search online for discounts of any sort, then figured to search for a Costco military discount. Now this isn't an initial discount, it is however a savings over time and an incentive to stay loyal to Costco. In all online material I found and talking to an in-store associate I was made aware of coupons for free and discounted items that are given to military members that total to over $60 in savings. I'll take that any day.

My membership is brand new (less than a month old) and I am happy so far with what I have received. Please click through the links I provided in this post. SheerID states you must very you military status online then head to the store and that is exactly what I did. If you follow the external link from Costco's website you'll be taken to a page to verify your service using TroopID, it states to purchase membership certificates to redeem in any store to legitimize your new military membership. I look forward to seeing what other perks come with this membership and will update this blog post as more benefits come my way.
