Counter Culture Brewery + Grille is a place I stumbled upon while hanging out with friends. I saw the sign as we were heading into a brunch spot near by and all through brunch I convinced everyone we needed to head over there for a beer afterwards. Once we made our way over to this brewery I found they had just opened up the week prior.
My visit happened on 1 December 2019, so not only was this their second week in business it was during the holiday season. I am telling you this because I was impressed by how well they came out the gates ready to serve the beer community.
The staff here was friendly and knew their stuff when it came to beers. I had to wait a little bit to collect my flight and a couple of my friends beers and the whole time I got spun up on the beer selection and the plans to attract more customers. As I follow Counter Culture's Facebook page I can see that they are growing and it looks as though the community is embracing them nicely.
As for my beer experience, I can say I was pleased with my flight. I made sure to check them in on my UNTAPPD app. I have not been back but they are on my radar as a brewery to head to when I know I will get a good beer. I do have to say I did not eat while I was there and I cannot remember if the grille side of things was up and running yet, but I know it is now and the food looks amazing! I will update this post when I can get back and have a meal.
