T-Mobile offers active duty service members, veterans, retired military personnel, members of the Army, Army Reserve or National Guard, and Gold Star families a severely reduced price unlimited phone plan. This plan personally saved me $60-80 monthly and was a major reason for me leaving my previous carrier who I had been with for nearly a decade.

My Personal Experience: My loyalty was pushed to the limits with my last carrier. Things started out pretty good, they were the first company with an unlimited plan and so the way I was able to carelessly use my phone was amazing. All my joy came to a crashing halt when I had my first issue and had to call customer service, then one issue became two, then three, and so on. On top of that, the old carrier seemed to never take responsibility, always trying to find a way to blame me for their mess ups, they seemed to have no communication between departments trying to fix my issues, and for reasons they could never explain; my phone bill kept rising without me changing anything to my plan.
Besides T-Mobile countering all the issues I listed above they also won over my loyalty and respect with how well they helped me in my transition to their company. The old carrier, whom I had just bought a Samsung S8+ from, screwed me over on the way out. Now I expected to pay for the phone and pay my bill off, but what I did not expect was to be stuck with the phone and not be able to use it with T-Mobile. The company continually lied to me saying they unlocked it and the issue was on T-Mobile's end, T-Mobile to their credit completely paid off the phone's remaining balance and my final bill. Luckily, when it was time to upgrade my temporary phone with T-Mobile they had a deal going at the time which allowed me to get a Samsung S9+ along with a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for free after purchasing the first phone. I say that to let you all know that I have the two newest phones now on T-Mobile with unlimited everything and free Netflix and my phone bill is still about $40-50 lower than my phone bill for a single S8+ on the other carrier.
If you are frustrated with your current carrier or just looking into other options, T-Mobile is worth giving a call to for comparing prices and services. Their staff is friendly and communication between departments is consistent. T-Mobile also offers freebies and discounts every Tuesday for all customers to take advantage of ranging from discount gas to free movies, sweepstakes offers, and exclusive trial services. Personally, I think I will stay with them for quite a while.
