The Gateway Arch in St. Louis, MO

In March 2019 I used my National Parks Pass (Free for military) to go visit the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, MO. While it did not grant me free access to the Arch itself. I did get a discount paying only $11 (no taxes added) per person. I only paid to do the, "Tram Ride to the Top" of the Arch. The museum is free, so I took advantage of that portion of the experience and at the time it was a bit cold so I did not want to do a Riverfront Cruise.

On their website you will see the Old Courthouse as part of your Jefferson National Park experience. I went there before hand and it was a good look into the past with some cool spiral staircases, old court rooms, a historical video/museum, gift shop, and many photo ops you can create and take advantage of as seen to the left and below.

If I get the chance to go back I want to pay for a helicopter tour of the Arch. This was not running when I went to visit in March 2019. The experience only runs from April through November.

For the longest time I had no idea you could go to the top of the STL Arch. I have driven through STL and always thought this was just a large art piece. Actually seeing the entrance and going inside is amazing. You would never guess what all the Gateway Arch has to offer. My mind was basically blown. The museum is huge and quite detailed with some cool interactive components. The journey to go to the top of the arch is one like you'll never see anywhere else.

If you follow my blog you know I went to a few places in STL and none of them disappointed. See my other posts here.
